The St. Louis Whirlybirds R/C Helicopter Club would like to invite you to our 26th Annual R/C Helicopter Fun Fly held on June 5th and June 6th, 2010 at the Buder Park R/C Flying Field. There will be two days of open flying all registered pilots are eligible for door prizes. It is a great opportunity to meet other pilots and exchange setup and flying tips. Whether you are a novice or expert, there is a great time planned for all. Charging station provided for batteries via generator.
The Fun Fly starts at 9:00am each day. Food and refreshments are available at the field. Since this is an AMA sanctioned event, you must have a current AMA card to register and fly. The landing fee is $20. Frequency No. 20 is not available at the flying field.
Buder Park R/C Flying Field is a public, AMA governed field. It is open during the daylight hours (8:00am to dusk) and is shared by planes, gliders, and helicopters (Buder park is closed to the public during the event). If you arrive earlier in the week, you can fly at Buder Park as long as you honor the AMA and local flying rules. AMA is required to fly at Buder Park and at the Fun Fly.
Feel free to contact us (via phone, e-mail, or our Web page) to let us know you are coming. If you are coming in early and want to fly before the weekend, give us a call and one of the St. Louis Whirlybirds will be happy to be your host at Buder Park.
